Nippo is inspired by the sports world, especially the design of athletes' jerseys. The curves of the characters are simplified into horizontal and vertical lines, supplemented by some diagonal elements connecting them. Although most letters are designed with a single line, some strokes of the characters are slightly weakened to prevent the overall character from appearing too heavy.
